ACHLA HAS THREE PRIMARY OBJECTIVES

We, the Atlantic City Hotel & Lodging Association, pledge our efforts to:

Provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, experiences and opinions through discussion, publication, educational meetings, seminars, trade shows, etc. to insure growth in the hospitality industry for all its members and allied members;

Provide a legislative arm that will acquire and disseminate information to protect the interests of our members and industry politically, socially, and provide economic benefit to our members;

Foster and promote tourism, hospitality and conventions in conjunction with the Atlantic City Visitors and Convention Authority and the Greater Atlantic City
Region Tourism Council.

We are committed to achieving these goals and objectives by providing our members and guests to Atlantic City with the highest standards they expect while promoting economic opportunities for our members.

To develop strategic alliances for community support and marketing initiatives.

Through close cooperation with other important business entitles, such as the Atlantic City Convention and Visitors Authority, Atlantic City Regional Mainland Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Atlantic City Region Tourism Council, the New Jersey Hotel & Lodging Association, the ACHLA effectively serves the needs of our membership and supports important community goals and initiatives.

To offer an array of programs and activities for the benefit of our members.

ACHLA activities offer members the opportunity to network, to participate actively in the organization, and to contribute to the work of the organization.

To support and promote hospitality and culinary education.

Through close collaboration with local and regional educational institutions that offer programs in hospitality education, ACHLA actively support activities and programs that promote the hospitality/culinary industry as a desirable career alternative and promote our members as the employers of choice.

ACHLA has created a Education/Scholarship Program which is dedicated to offering area high school and college students a career path in the Lodging, Hospitality, Culinary and other Tourism professions.
